The note C is always found on the white key immediately to the left of a group of two black keys. Once you’ve mastered identifying the note C, finding other notes like D, G and B becomes child’s play.
The keyboard is made up of octave repeats. Each octave comprises 7 white keys, corresponding to the 7 notes: C, D, E, F, G, A, B. Work your way through the octaves of your keyboard, starting from our C reference point.
