OrganConvert converts audio into organ sheet music, which is useful for finding a melody, harmony, or passage played on the organ in a piece of music. You can choose between transcription, which reproduces what is played as closely as possible, or arrangement, which provides a more readable version that is easier to play on the organ. Exports are available in PDF, MIDI, and MusicXML formats, so you can read, edit, and reuse the score.

Transcription consists of identifying the organ part actually played in the recording: chords, voicings, counter-melodies, harmonic movements. To be reliable, the organ must therefore be present and sufficiently distinct in the mix; a sound that is very drowned out by reverb or covered by other keyboards can limit accuracy. The arrangement offers a comprehensive adaptation for organ, taking up the main melody and, as the organ is polyphonic, adding a coherent accompaniment (chords/harmony). The aim is to create a complete version that is enjoyable to play solo, even if the original does not contain an organ.

Import an audio/video file or paste a YouTube link, then choose Transcription or Arrangement. OrganConvert works from a YouTube link or an imported audio or video file. Common formats are supported (MP3, WAV, MP4, AAC, etc.), allowing for a wide variety of sources, including video recordings. For best results, a clean source and an organ that is clearly audible in the mix are important.

Arrangement is the best choice when transforming an existing song into an organ version, with melody and accompaniment, in order to obtain a more complete and immediately usable score, even when the original is sung or orchestrated.

When transcribing, OrganConvert requires an organ that is actually present in the audio and sufficiently distinct to reconstruct a credible part (chords, voicings, counter-melodies). Mixes with a lot of reverb, density, or compression can make the organ difficult to isolate, which affects accuracy. In arrangement, OrganConvert can be applied to a very wide range of songs: the app produces an adaptation for organ by taking the melody, and since the organ is polyphonic, the arrangement can also offer accompaniment (chords/harmony) to create a more complete version to play. The quality then depends mainly on the musical structure of the piece and the clarity of the melody.

On average, conversion takes about two minutes for a piece of average complexity. The duration depends on the length of the file and the harmonic density. The goal is to quickly obtain a reusable organ score.
