From an audio file or YouTube link, it generates a structured score with a staff for each instrument, so that each musician can find their part more easily. PDF, MIDI, and MusicXML exports then allow you to read the score, edit it, or produce it in a DAW.
You import an audio/video file or paste a YouTube link, then start the transcription. BandConvert analyzes the piece and organizes the result across several staves to provide a clear and usable reading. Once the conversion is complete, you download your files and can use them as a basis for rehearsing, arranging, or reworking the structure.
BandConvert accepts YouTube links as well as the most common audio and video files (MP3, WAV, MP4, AAC, etc.), making it suitable for both demos and more polished recordings.
BandConvert works best when instruments are sufficiently distinct and clearly audible. A very dense mix, with lots of layers and effects, can make certain parts more difficult to isolate. In practice, good audio quality and a clear balance between instruments significantly improve multi-instrument transcription.
