Any questions?

How many piano lessons does this resource contain?

This resource contains 8 weeks of lessons, where each week is broken down into two sessions of about 45 minutes. You will therefore benefit from a complete schedule of 16 free piano lessons for beginners to download as a PDF.

How will these courses be delivered to me?

You will find a PDF file to guide you step by step as a beginner pianist, an excel table summarizing the different lessons and serving as personal notes, as well as a folder containing all the MIDI files of the exercises of each lesson.

Are these courses really for beginners?

Absolutely! They have been specially designed for beginners who have never touched a piano and have no theoretical knowledge on the subject. If you are in this case, these courses will explain step by step the main steps and important notions to learn the piano in the best conditions.

What are the concepts covered?

Here are the different concepts covered in these courses:

– Positions (sitting, elbows, forearms, wrists, fingers, …) ;

– The musical notes on a piano keyboard;

– Playing with the right hand ;

– Playing with the left hand ;

– Playing with both hands at the same time (coordination);

– Scales (major and minor) ;

– Chords (major and minor) ;

– Fingering;

– Rhythm.

What types of exercises are offered?

For each course, you will benefit from adapted exercises. For example, for the course whose theme is “Playing with the right hand”, you will first have to execute a sequence of 5 notes in a row with your right hand, then a sequence of 8 notes (C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C). For the course whose theme revolves around chords, you will have to recognize the chords on the diagrams, but also make up your own chords and link them.

Each exercise is accompanied by a MIDI file specially created for the exercise in question. All you have to do is import it into the La Touche Musicale application to play it with interactive lessons.

What songs are played in these classes?

The songs proposed in these piano lessons are adapted to the theme of each session. Thus, you will be able to put into practice what you have learned in “real conditions” thanks to the different songs.

You will find famous songs such as Ode to Joy by Beethoven, The Aristocats song, Bella Ciao from La Casa de Papel, Hello by Adele and many other famous titles.
